Over the last few weeks you may have noticed the appearance of a brand spanking new studio downstairs at Ride Republic. Many of you have been asking exactly what it’s being used for and probably getting rather unenlightening answers. Well, it’s now time to enlighten you all with the very exciting announcement that in the coming weeks, Ride Republic is launching Rebuild 50.
Rebuild 50 is the ultimate lean body sculpting class. With a focus on strengthening the core, arms and glutes, this class is the perfect compliment to our signature cycle classes. It is also an intense and effective stand-alone class, particularly for those with relatively sedentary, desk-based jobs. In 50 minutes, you will hit each muscle group for a full body workout, finishing with a deep stretch segment designed to release the hip flexors, quadriceps, hamstrings and back. Furthermore, with only 6 people per class, you are assured to get the personalised attention needed for maximum results.
Rebuild 50 was masterminded by in-house Instructor Rachel Rivers. With over 20 years experience in the fitness industry she works with sculpture of long, lean muscle mass, with an emphasis, not only on effective exercises to shape the body, but the importance of releasing and stretching muscle to gain the desired condition.
To show interest in this class please register with our Front of House team.
Rachel will also be using the studio for her own Personal Training service. For a full biography on this talented lady, take a look below.
Rachel is a qualified Personal Trainer, Corrective Exercise Specialist, Pilate’s Instructor, Pre & Post Natal Trainer, CBT Therapist (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), DNAFit Trainer and an ex national tennis player. She specialises in weight loss, core training, body sculpting (lean muscle), postural correction and low impact exercise to rehabilitate or prevent injury.
Rachel has been in the coaching and fitness industry for over twenty years. Her background in competitive sports means she can (and will) push you as hard as an athlete, whilst always putting mobility, functionality and each individual client’s requirements as a top priority. With a Bachelors and Masters degree in sports she realises that Sports Science is a fantastic scientific guide, but that the most important information comes from personal client feedback.
Rachel’s emphasis on bespoke body sculpting programmes for each client based on their body type is what makes working with a personal trainer worth the time and effort. Rachel is passionate about educating her clients in mind and body – the same exercise does not always equal the same aesthetics (look) for everyone. In order to sculpt to the individuals desires, Rachel takes into consideration a number of variables: body type (genetics), muscle memory, mobility, pain restrictions, realistic goals, likes/dislikes/lifestyle, plus mindset and habits. Her personal training offers a package that goes beyond an hour of ongoing exercise. Her methods encourage improvement in mind and body through both mental and physical education.
