Drinking bone broth is an incredible and ancient technique for restoring your stomach and digestion to good health. It’s actually very similar to a good stock and it restores your body in many different ways.
Firstly the delicious broth is FULL of minerals, including calcium, magnesium, silicon, sulphur and many others.
Secondly, it reduces inflammation in the body and promotes healthy digestion.
Thirdly, the gelatin in the soup promotes healthy skin and encourages hair and nail growth.
So brew yourself up a big pan bone broth. If you make enough you can keep it in the freezer for throughout the week. Try to drink at least a cup a day.
500g of the bones of a chicken (or other animals).
1 onion, chopped
2-3 bay leaves
2 lemons, halved.
2 tbsp cider vinegar
Any other herbs you fancy.
