This breathing technique can be tailored to fit your timeframe and the best part is, you can do it anywhere.
- Be aware of any tension in your body and take a moment to release it
- Inhale slowly through your nose for four counts
- Hold your breath for six counts
- Exhale through your mouth for seven counts
After just a few breaths, you will start feeling more centered and relaxed as you focus on your breath and the counts. Give this a try for one minute today and slowly increase by a minute each time. You’ll find it easier to let go of your thoughts and enjoy being present!”
