These powerballs require zero baking – which means zero excuses. They are super simple and form a great fuel booster when you’re on the go during the day. What’s more is the basic recipe is gluten-free and vegan and you can add whatever you like to the mix – coconut, dried fruits, nuts…anything you’ve got a flavour for!
1x cup gluten free oats
1/2 cup peanut butter (or any nut butter you wish)
1/4 cup agave nectar (or honey or maple syrup)
1 tbs. coconut oil
1 tbs. chia seeds
2 tbs. flax seeds
pinch of salt
1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
Feel free to add any extras like chocolate chips, coconut, dried fruits or nuts
- In a large bowl, mix all the ingredients together thoroughly.
- Cover the bowl and refrigerate the mixture for about 30 minutes.
- With your hands, roll the mixture into balls.
- Place the bites into an airtight container and store in the refrigerator so they keep their form (they should keep for around a week)
